The Research Gateway is a collaborative research platform where investors can, anonymously, come together and purchase appraisal projects on specific hedge funds they are interested in. Once the aggregated bid on a fund reaches its buyout price, the project is validated. Hedge fund Appraisal will usually deliver the report within 4-6 weeks after its validation. As an indication, the buyout price will usually be set at $6’500.

1.Create an account. It’s free. Click here to open the Registration Form.

2.As a member, you will receive our weekly Gateway Snapshot which provides details of the current projects on the platform. The Snapshot will usually be delivered every Monday.

3.Check the list of appraisal projects and their respective current aggregated bids.

4.Place your bid (minimum $1’000) on an existing appraisal project or on a new one. Open the bid form complete the requested details and return it to us by email. Click here to open the Bid Form.

5.Monitor the progression of the aggregate bids, toward the buyout prices, for your projects on the weekly Gateway Snapshot. You can increase, decrease or cancel any of your bids at any time as long as the project is not validated. Use the Bid Form to modify or cancel your bids.

6.Once the aggregate bid for a project reaches its buyout price, the project is automatically validated. A confirmation will be sent to you upon validation of one of your project with an expected completion date.

7.Upon completion of the project, you will be able to download your report directly from our server with all the related documentation.

8.Completed or upcoming appraisal reports are for sale at a unique price of $1’500 until they reach their 6 month anniversary (List of reports available provided in the Weekly Gateway Snapshot). Click here to open the Purchase Form.

9.A monthly statement summarizing your activity and current bids on the platform will be sent to you at every month end.
